Day of meet registration is available, but preregistration is preferred. See the registration form for fees and more information.

The registration form is here. If you have a printer and are set up to handle PDF files, you should be able to print it out. The location is in Broomfield:
City Commons Drive which leads to the race is a new street between Sheridan Blvd and Lowell Blvd and also between W. 136 Ave and Midway Blvd in Broomfield. The street is too new to be on any of the map web sites. There is a sign for City Commons Drive on Sheridan Blvd which goes East to a traffic circle not far from Sheridan. There is a parking to the South at that point where everyone can park. The starting line is at the west end of the parking lot.

Volunteers and spectators welcome!

Monitored Race - 27th Annual Freedom Run

This monitored race is a fun one with lots of walk awards!

Date: July 4, 2008
Start Time: 8:00 a.m. (delayed start for walkers)
Evergreen Middle School

Link with downloadable registration form here

My two cents: This is a challenging and hilly (but fun) course. Due to the large number of participants and the limitations of the course, it is difficult for the monitors to be completely accurate and some mix-ups on walk awards have occurred in the past.

Note on monitored races in Colorado:
In a monitored race, racewalk monitors apply USATF racewalk rules when a complete crew of certified judges is not available.Racewalk monitors may or may not be USATF certified judges.Monitors apply USATF racewalk rules to the best of their ability.Monitors can disqualify illegal competitors--the exact procedures differ based on the number on monitors available; however, a single monitor can have a person who is clearly running, skipping, hiking with bent knees, etc., removed from racewalking awards.
